Javier Muñoz and the cast of "Hamilton"

The hit Broadway phenomena "Hamilton", has obviously made a name for itself. Two years on Broadway, and already going through the original cast, there has been some new news on the show: Javier Muñoz will be leaving the title role of "Hamilton".
"It's been an incredible adventure. Both emotionally and professionally, and I wouldn't change a second of it i'm still here and i'm still grateful." Muñoz was credited saying as he addressed the rumors about his absence. Though there are mixed feeling about his leave everyone can agree that his connection to the show has been a long and solid one. From helping through the early stage development of the show, to being part of the original ensemble, to now taking over the title role.
Broadway.com has recently announced that Michael Luwoye will be taking over as Alexander Hamilton in the smash musical. Luwoye was part of the original cast as an understudy, and is currently leading the national tour of the musical. He will be taking over for Javier once he leaves, but that information has not been announced at this time.
In addition to his work in Hamilton, Luwoye appeared off-Broadway in a Lucille Lortel Award-nominated performance in the musical Invisible Thread. He was also seen on stage in Cardboard Piano at the Actors Theatre of Louisville.
The current Broadway cast of Hamilton also includes Daniel Breaker as Aaron Burr, Bryan Terrell Clark as George Washington, Mandy Gonzalez as Angelica Schuyler, James Monroe Iglehart as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, J. Quinton Johnson as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison, Joanna A. Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, Lexi Lawson as Eliza Hamilton, Anthony Lee Medina as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton and Euan Morton as King George.
