Box office opening date has been set for Frozen On Broadway

The new Broadway musical based off of the hit 2013 Disney film of the same name, has announced that Frozen will open November 13 at 10 AM ET, when a new block of tickets goes on sale at the St. James Theatre, located at 246 W. 44th Street.

Beginning that day, tickets for Frozen will be on sale for performances beginning February 22, 2018, through December 30, 2018. The St. James Theatre box office is open for business Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–8 PM. Frozen will join Disney Theatrical hits Aladdin and The Lion King on Broadway, beginning previews at the St. James Theatre February 22, 2018, and opening March 22, 2018.

With director Michael Grandage, and choreographed by Rob Ashford,the cast is led by Caissie Levy and Patti Murin as Elsa and Anna, respectively. The rest of the cast is made up of Jelani Alladin (Kristoff), Greg Hildreth (Olaf), John Riddle (Hans), Robert Creighton (Weselton), Kevin Del Aguila (Oaken), Timothy Hughes (Pabbie), Andrew Pirozzi (Sven), Audrey Bennett (Young Anna), Mattea Conforti (Young Anna), Brooklyn Nelson (Young Elsa), Ayla Schwartz (Young Elsa), Alyssa Fox (Elsa Standby), Aisha Jackson (Anna Standby), and Adam Jepsen (Sven Alternate).

Stephen Oremus is music supervisor and creates vocal, incidental, and dance arrangements. He is accompanied by Dave Metzger (orchestrations), Chris Montan (executive music producer), and Brian Usifer (music director).

Frozen on Broadway will be the first adaptation of the movie that expands on the story. Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez have written around a dozen songs for the production. The movie’s co-director and screenwriter, Jennifer Lee, also returned to pen the book.
